Brian Beveridge is an independent consultant focusing on digital transformation and emerging technology. Brian is a former Partner with MNP and co-led its National Technology Consulting practice until 2015. Currently, Brian is involved with several start-up organizations as advisor and board member and is providing mentoring services to Manitoba Technology Exchange, Futurepreneur Canada, and the North Forge Technology Exchange. Prior to joining MNP, Brian was co-founder and principal consultant of Greenridge, a Winnipeg-based IT services and solutions company that merged with MNP in 2011.
Brian provides high-level advisory consulting on Information Technology (IT) opportunities and challenges and delivering innovative solutions to a wide range of clients across Canada, including organizations in the cryptocurrency, blockchain, agriculture, government, insurance, education, healthcare, retail, high-tech, mining and manufacturing sectors.
Brian is an accomplished consultant with an exceptional ability to understand and bridge the worlds of business and IT to determine effective approaches to complex and ambiguous problems. With over 37 years of industry experience in business, technical and application environments, he delivers solid results and is adept at helping organizations streamline processes, improve customer service and realize the benefits of strategic IT investments. His areas of expertise include blockchain and cryptocurrency, system architecture, project management and oversight, business intelligence and analytics, and business and systems analysis.
His expertise has been applied within Canada, the U.S., Europe and Australia managing projects that involve complex interactions with clients, vendors, and services delivery teams – often involving the development and ownership of ‘net new’ technology intellectual property. His project experience has been applied nationally and internationally with high-profile clients such as Hewlett-Packard, IBM, Procter and Gamble, Johnson and Johnson, Great West Life, Wawanesa Insurance, Canpotex and public-sector organizations such as Government of Canada, provincial governments and government agencies in the US and Europe.
