Bruce Roberts is a healthcare executive, an entrepreneur, and a pharmacist. In pharmacy and across healthcare, he’s been a leader in solving healthcare challenges using innovation and technology. He currently serves as Chief Commercial Officer for EHR Data where he is driving market adoption for this new healthcare start-up focused on focused on transforming the way data is used and shared to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce costs.

Bruce began his career as the founder and owner of four pharmacies and a home health care company. He served as the CEO of the National Community Pharmacist Association (NCPA) from 2001-2010 where he grew the association’s presence in the United States and around the world. USA Today named NCPA one of the top healthcare lobbies in the United States in 2009.

During Bruce’s tenure at NCPA, he co-founded and was board co-chair of SureScripts which connects prescribers and pharmacies to facilitate electronic prescribing. SureScripts grew to be the dominant means to facilitate electronic prescribing. He also led the formation of Mirixa, a company focused on connecting pharmacists with health plans for the delivery of clinical services. Under Bruce’s leadership as board chair, Mirixa grew to be the industry leader in the Medication Therapy Management space as well as other areas of clinical services provided by pharmacist. In 2008, Bruce was instrumental in launching Mirixa in Australia where it has become the dominate systemized means for Australian Pharmacy to engage in clinical activities. After leaving NCPA, Bruce shared his expertise as a consultant in the health care industry.

Bruce is also a leader in his community serving on many boards including the Rotary Club of Leesburg, the George C. Marshall International Center, and the Northern Virginia Science Center Advisory Board. He earned his pharmacy degree from West Virginia University.
