While this is the 7th CoinGeek Conference it is the 2nd time eSports have had their own, bespoke, panel. There is a firm belief that blockchain technology can grow the reputation of eSports by providing transparency in gameplay. Previous CoinGeek events have been held in New York, Seoul, Hong Kong, London (twice), and Toronto, and now the bandwagon moves to the heart of the traditional financial sector of Europe, Zurich.
The CoinGeek organizers are pleased to announce the eSports panel: Casual Games & eSports on Blockchain where attendees (virtual and in-person) can hear the thoughts of:
CTO, Esports Entertainment Group
John has spent the last decade helping companies develop services and scale infrastructures in the eSports and gaming industry – from indie to AAA. Currently, John is responsible for all aspects of the technology strategy for Esports Entertainment Group.
CEO, FYX Gaming
Adam is an entrepreneur with over 20 years of doing successful projects within the performance marketing industry. Impressed with bitcoin’s dominance of 2013’s headlines, he has been following the development of blockchain technologies ever since and trying to find that perfect fit of technology and market fit. Combining competitive gaming & bitcoin opens up new worlds that he intends to take on with a passion.
Co-founder, Bitcell Technology Inc.
Gu Lu is a veteran in the game industry for 12 years since graduating in 2005, and participated in various AAA game titles like Splinter Cell/Ghost Recon (at UBISoft) and EVE (at CCP), and also multiple PC & Mobile games. He became an independent developer in 2018 and started exploring ideas in BSV for building game products in 2019. He co-founded Bitcell and started the project SatoPlay as a game platform, utilizing the micro-payment capability to offer in-game incentives.
His vision is to build an unlimited virtual open world for everyone to interact, with scaling-capable infrastructure, with four pillars: immersive reality visualization, big-world server-less layered synchronization, resources and transactions delivery and settlement, and massive in-game player incentivized content generation.
