Block Dojo is a 12-week, in-person program that helps evolve your business from an idea into an incorporated company that is revenue-generating. We are the UK’s top blockchain incubator having secured 24% of all UK blockchain funding rounds in 2022 (Beauhurst).

The Dojo surrounds you with a team of successful and seasoned entrepreneurs to help you avoid the many pitfalls and barriers to success. We also provide access to our ecosystem of 3,000+ angel and venture capital investors, 130 mentors, 100 hours of blockchain developer time and vast connections to potential clients across many industries.

If you have a strong business proposal, the Block Dojo will help you:

• Set up your company and help you prepare for investment to help you achieve your first milestones, then scale.
• Developers to help build your prototype or MVP.
• R&D partners, so you have clients, customers, and market feedback right out of the gate.
• Mentors and advisors with years of experience working in the industry you are problem-solving.

Benefits Of Joining The Block Dojo

• £10K upon joining to cover 3 months of living expenses in London.
• £100K in services, support, and mentoring provided throughout the 12-week programme.
• You will receive 100 hours of developer time to help you build your MVP/prototype.
• Circa £150K in pre-seed funding. We aim to help you raise this from our angel and VC network, subject to your requirements.
• We aim to help you raise a further £1.4M seed funding after 12 months if milestones are achieved.

Job Responsibilities

If accepted into the 12-week program, you will be responsible for:

• Attending the programme in person for the full 12 weeks from Monday to Thursday
• Working collaboratively with the Block Dojo team of developers, designers, fellow entrepreneurs, experienced investors and a network of advisors/mentors to create a viable business
• Attending workshops and masterclasses critical to creating and growing your business
• Attending and pitching your start-up at three investor dinners and the programme’s final investor showcase (over 200 investors in total)
• Conducting market research with your target market and iterating your proposition and potentially pivoting

We are looking for entrepreneurs that have:

• Lived through the problems they are solving with a deep understanding of their customer’s needs and how to make change happen.
• Deep expertise in their fields of work, be it in research or a specific industry.
• Drive and resilience to succeed.
• Desire to collaborate and learn from our mentors and team and not afraid to pivot if research and customer feedback points them in another direction.
• Entrepreneurial mindset – iterate quickly, focus on outputs and learning fast, and above all else, have the tenacity to succeed.
