Role Overview: Marketing Director 

BuzzCast is seeking a Marketing Director to establish and lead the marketing function at a rapidly growing start-up in a highly competitive market. This position will ensure consistent, effective communications as part of an integrated program to raise awareness of BuzzCast’s unique market position while executing ABM programs to drive customer acquisition, retention and expansion.



  • Hands-on experience owning product marketing, communications and demand generation in a B2B technology start-up environment, ideally in virtual event software.
  • Excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Strong creative mind and ability to think out of the box.
  • 10+ years of marketing and communications experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Journalism, Communications or other related field.



  • Own strategy and execution for product marketing, demand generation, communications, content marketing, event marketing and social media marketing programs.
  • Design and execute integrated Account Based Marketing programs to increase customer acquisition and expansion in key target markets.
  • Develop compelling campaign assets, including high value offers, industry studies, videos, case studies, eBooks and interactive tools.
  • Build and execute a strategic media relations program to raise the profile of BuzzCast in key event marketing, technology trade and business publications.
  • Develop messaging framework and content calendar. Hire and manage resources to build a content marketing engine that drives prominent visibility for key search terms.
  • Write and produce exceptional press releases, presentations, case studies, research reports, white papers, blog posts, and executive bylines that stand out in a crowded marketplace.
  • Manage the execution of all marketing and communications programs to meet specific demand generation goals and KPI’s.
  • Develop and execute thought leadership platforms for BuzzCast executives.
