Your New Gig

BANXA is growing rapidly, we’re recognised as one of the fastest growing startups in the cryptocurrency industry, facilitating up to 20,000 orders daily and this number is only expected to get bigger! We currently have multiple opportunities available in our Lithuania based Operations team (our largest team by headcount).

As a Customer Onboarding Specialist, you will be responsible for providing timely and accurate answers to our customer’s questions over various channels including email, chat and phone. You will be responsible for providing a fantastic customer experience that ensures that all Banxa customers feel valued and promotes repeat business. Ensuring all customers meet Banxa’s Know Your Customer (KYC) obligations and adhere to regulations. As the newest Customer Onboarding Specialist you will be responsible for analysing transactions made by our customers to ensure these meet our requirements.


What You’ll Do:

  • You will be responsible for analysing and verifying customer accounts for authenticity;
  • You will analyse and interpret identity document reports for customers who failed verification;
  • You will request additional documentation from customers where required;
  • You will escalate customer accounts and transactions to senior team members for additional review
  • You will have a keen eye for analysing payment information to determine if payments have been received and are authentic;
  • You will troubleshoot customer issues with completing account creation and making payments; and providing training and assistance to other new team members when needed.


You should apply if:

  • You thrive in an ever changing, fast moving environment. You have a positive attitude, high attention to detail and understand the importance of following a process.
  • You have at least 1 year of experience working in a business process outsourcing environment, preferably in finance, banking or payments;
  • You are experience with and competent in processing a high volume of cases (over 100 per day) quickly; preferable if you have experience analysing identity documents or payments
  • You have a fast internet connection (5mpbs broadband internet connection)
  • You must have an inquisitive mind and be resourceful to be able to conduct investigations

  • Experience working as part of a Customer Experience team within the financial services industry
  • Knowledge or interest in blockchain/digital assets/fin-tech industry
  • Whilst not necessary candidates who have experience in fast growing companies or fully remote roles will be preferred.
