Steve Lawrence is a proven business leader with more than 25 years of experience at the intersection of healthcare, data, and technology. An entrepreneur at heart with a passion for building strong teams, Steve has built multiple companies from concept to market adoption to successful exits. Steve’s career demonstrates his belief in the importance simplifying the role of providers so they can spend more time with their patients.

As CEO of EHR Data, Steve provides overall corporate leadership and vision for this new healthcare start-up focused on transforming the way data is used and shared to improve healthcare outcomes and reduce costs. Prior to joining EHR Data, he held numerous senior leadership positions at Cardinal Health including leading the Pharmaceutical Distribution Segment Marketing organization, running Medicine Shoppe International, leading multiple market segment sales teams, and managing teams up to 1200 people. Steve was instrumental in several $1B+ acquisitions to help grow his market segment to over $25B in sales. Steve first joined Cardinal Health when they acquired RenLar Systems, a successful pharmacy management system company that he helped start. Under the Cardinal umbrella, he created ScriptLine, a company that collected real time prescription data from over 15,000 pharmacies and provided longitudinal studies to pharmaceutical manufacturers. ScriptLine was spun out of Cardinal Health as a new company, Arclight Systems which was ultimately sold to NDC Health Data Systems.

Steve is a past board member and advisor for several organizations including the Ohio State University College of Pharmacy, Charitable Pharmacy of Central Ohio and the GenerationRx program which works to prevent the misuse of prescription medications. Steve holds a BS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Kentucky.
